ADEFA’s authorities reviewed agenda with the Minister of Transport

Within the framework of the meetings that the Association of Automotive Makers (ADEFA) has been holding with national officials, the members of the Steering Committee met the Minister of Transport, Mario Meoni with the aim of analysing the progress of the development and implementation of measures tending to promoting improvements in the production, export and competitiveness of the automotive industry.

At this first meeting, ADEFA’s authorities moved forward on an agenda of priorities with the Minister and his team, linked to infrastructure, logistics, road safety, new technologies, among others.

At the end of the meeting, the President of ADEFA, Gabriel López  noted that they discussed about the importance of continuing working  on the logistical costs that affect each stage of the sector's activity and about the harmonization of technical standards with Brazil, particularly in the incorporation of new security systems, among other topics.  

In this way, it was established as an agenda to make a detailed diagnosis of the situation of the various points covered, to put together working groups to detect the problematic aspects in each of the areas and to raise proposals to reach together a solution.
